Main

Julian Collins

I have a twenty year career as a data professional, working with both official financial statistics and healthcare data. Most recently I designed and developed a data warehouse of linked healthcare data for 250k patients at a group of major NHS Trusts in London.
My expertise lies in uncovering meaning in data - to drive forward quality improvements and to tell stories that can make a difference.
Currently looking for a position in healthcare analytics that allows me to exploit and develop my skills in R, data quality development, statistical analysis and visualisation.

Industry Experience

I think that a code-based approach to analysis is essential for transparency and reproducibility - it also empowers teams to collaborate effectively. A data pipeline of Source > R > Rmarkdown is ideal.
